One thing that Stanley does not go without is a pencil. He’s constantly needing to measure, mark, re-measure, or make notes. So, he doesn’t have time to be hunting down a pencil or digging through a pocket to find one. His go-to solution is the MagnoGrip Quick Snap Magnetic Pencil Holder. He likes to wear it on his shirt color, but it can also be used on a tool belt.

So, why do you need a pencil if you are doing DIY or renovation projects? Here are just a few reasons that come to mind.

  1. Marking measurements: A pencil is used to mark measurements on different materials such as wood, metal, and concrete. This is important to ensure accuracy and precision in construction. Remember the old adage, “Measure twice and cut once.” So important!
  2. Sketching designs: A pencil is also used to sketch designs, plans, and layouts for different construction projects. This helps architects, engineers, and contractors to visualize and plan the project before starting the actual construction work. Ok, I’m probably the one needing it more for this to explain to him what I’m envisioning. But, sometimes he needs it, too if he wants to show me reality versus my imagination!
  3. Writing notes: A pencil is handy for writing notes and making annotations on construction drawings, blueprints, and other documents. Or, maybe love notes to your spouse while working… By love notes, I mean reminders to buy things like lunch.
  4. Easy to erase: Unlike pens, pencils can be easily erased or corrected if mistakes are made during the construction process.

Clearly, you need a pencil. So why not make it easily accessible? That’s all I’m gonna say!
