This house was in really decent shape, but it was very dated making it difficult to sell. We brought it up to date with modern yet comfy renovations so it could be flipped quickly at a good price. I’ve added a few before and after shots of the key areas of the house.
The Exterior
This is such an unusual layout, but really beautiful with the natural stone. It really just needed a fresh paint job to give it more curb appeal. We went with a darker color that would bring out the texture and color of the stonework without clashing with it. We also modernized the front steps and porch.

The Kitchen
The kitchen is the most commonly renovated room of the house, and usually, it’s with good reason. Check out those blood-red walls and mismatching formica countertops and linoleum flooring from the before picture. Let’s not even mention those lights! This kitchen was in serious need of some TLC.
We added texture to the ceiling, and three different types of modern light fixtures to brighten up the space and give it a clean, beautiful design. We also added some under the cabinet lights which really highlight the beautiful tiling of the backsplash.

Living Room
The ceilings in this house are amazing! While the stone fireplace did add interest, we decided to keep the entire house consistent in theme with clean lines and a minimalist approach. Because of all of the natural light and huge space, we grounded the room by painting the ceiling in a darker color and using a bold, dark tile for the floor.

Bathrooms
Bathrooms are probably the second room in a house to require a remodel. We kept the basic style of all of the bathrooms similar, yet each still displayed some unique features to give them individuality. We avoided the harsh colors and conflicting patterns from the previous design. And check out the amazing shower we put into the master bathroom!

Extra Spaces
I thought I’d add the final “after” pictures here which include the basement, laundry area, and some bedrooms. We made use of a high-quality carpet in some areas to add some warmth to what otherwise might feel cold with so much tile. We kept the same color tones and styles throughout.
